Use Native Shopify Swatches
This setting allows Rubik to use color or image swatches defined in Shopify metafields, instead of Rubik’s custom swatch images/colors.
How it works
- If a variant option has a metafield color → Rubik uses that color
- If it has an image metafield → Rubik uses that image
- If both exist → image takes priority
- If no metafields exist → Rubik uses your custom swatch settings

When to enable
- You already use Shopify’s native swatch metafields
- You want your theme’s original color swatches to stay intact
- You want consistency across apps or theme features
When to keep disabled
- You prefer using Rubik’s custom swatches only
- You do not use Shopify metafields for color or pattern values
