# Understanding Advanced Product Media Settings

Under **Advanced settings**, there are two options:

**Overwrite main variant images in Admin**
* *If checked:* The first assigned image will replace the main variant image in Shopify Admin.
* *If unchecked:* Your existing main variant images in Shopify will stay unchanged.

**2. Overwrite image orders in Admin**
* *If checked:* The image order in Shopify Admin will match the same order you assigned in Rubik.
* *If unchecked:* Shopify will keep the old image order and won’t update it.
