How to Set Custom Swatch Images or Colors

Rubik Variant Images & Swatch allows you to customize your swatches by using your own images or custom colors instead of Shopify’s default variant image. This gives you full control over how your variant options look on the product page.

You can also upload different swatch images for products with multiple options, such as Color and Style.

1. Open the Custom Swatch Editor

1. Open Rubik Variant Images & Swatch from your Shopify admin
2. Go to Swatch (Variant Picker)
3. Click Set custom swatches and select your product

This opens the swatch editor where you can upload or modify custom images and colors.

2. Assign Custom Images or Colors

Inside the custom swatch page:

• Choose the variant value you want to edit
• Upload a custom swatch image
• Or choose a custom color
• Save your changes

Rubik will automatically use your custom swatch design on your product page.

3. Multi Option Swatches (Color + Style)

If your product has more than one option, you can upload different custom swatch images for each option.

Examples:

• Color → upload color texture images
• Style → upload icons or pattern images
• Finish → upload gloss, matte, metal textures

Rubik will display these swatches correctly for each option.
